Our Client, an Indian Non-profit organization is looking to engage with a product consultant.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Define strategic goals by collaborating with senior management, aligning product strategy with business objectives.
2. Conduct comprehensive market and user research to inform product strategy, identifying trends and opportunities.
3. Work closely with the technology team to develop adaptable product roadmaps outlining timelines and milestones.
4. Regularly communicate product strategy and roadmap to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations.
5. Brainstorm and conceptualize new product features addressing user pain points and market gaps.
6. Develop comprehensive business cases for new features, presenting cost-benefit analyses and ROI projections to stakeholders.
7. Create detailed functional specifications for new features, ensuring clarity and completeness.
8. Maintain thorough documentation of all feature specifications for the development team.
9. Act as the primary liaison between departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
10. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features based on user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact.
11. Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather input and ideas, synthesizing information for product decisions.
12. Keep stakeholders informed of progress, changes, and updates through regular communication channels.
13. Define clear product release timelines and coordinate all aspects of the release process.
14. Work closely with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of new features and oversee user acceptance testing.
15. Coordinate with marketing and communication teams to plan product launches, ensuring readiness among stakeholders.
16. Monitor product performance and operational metrics, analyzing feedback and data insights for continuous improvement.
17. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Although the project is primarily related to Product Management, it would also include elements of BA and Solution Architecture.
This project is for a duration of 4 months(extendable) and requires the consultant to work in Hybrid mode in Mumbai devoting their Full-Time Capacity.
Skills Required:
1. Technical and Business Acumen: Possess a strong combination of technical
understanding and business insight, with 4-8 years of experience in product
management roles, preferably within the tech industry or digital platforms. B2C
experience is preferred.
2. Product Lifecycle Management: Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products or platforms from concept to market. Experience with end-to- end product lifecycle management.
3. User Experience Design: Proficiency in designing simple and intuitive user interfaces through wireframes and mockups. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
4. Agile Methodologies and Software Development: Deep understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and product management best practices.
5. Business and Analytical Skills: Strong business acumen, managerial skills, and
analytical capabilities to make data-driven decisions.
6. Detail-Oriented and Accountable: High attention to detail and a sense of ownership to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
7. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including tech, marketing, and operations.
8. Self-Motivation and Adaptability: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast- paced and dynamic environment.
9. Innovation and Creativity: Innovation is a key responsibility in this role. Must be a creative and passionate individual with a talent for research, ideation, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
10. Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and align multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, to drive product vision and strategy.
11. Market and Competitor Analysis: Experience in conducting market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategy and positioning.
