Our client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an Independent Consultant: Triconex Engineering Leader, who will oversee the development projects involved in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing embedded hardware, software, and systems. This pivotal role requires strong leadership to facilitate cross-functional collaboration across electronic, mechanical, system, and software engineering disciplines. You will work closely with a talented team of Engineers, guiding them to deliver the next generation of market-leading industrial products from our R&D center.
Responsibilities:
Direct development projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to product strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
Mentor and lead a team of Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
Define and enforce best practices in engineering development and project management.
Maintain oversight of hardware and software architectures to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
Manage relationships and interactions with other teams critical to R&D operations, such as supply chain and purchasing, to optimize project workflows and resource allocation.
Ensure operational excellence in product development processes, including quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Skills Required
- Proven experience in leading complex engineering projects from concept to production, preferably in industrial automation or related fields.
- Strong technical background in embedded systems, hardware design, and software development.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of an organization.
- Experience in setting up and driving best practices in engineering development and project management.
