Assignment Details

Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation is looking for a Metrology Engineer.

 Inspect Plastic, Sheetmetal & machined component and subassembly as per
design record / drawing.
 Perform measurement as per GD&T ISO8015 / ASTM Y14.5 standards.
 Perform geometrical measure using Mitutoyo Crysta-Apex C574 MCOSMOS-2
CMM or Zeiss Contour G2 CALYPSO 7.2
 Perform profile measurement using Mitutoyo Active 202 QV QVPAK.
 Hands on in conventional measurement equipment
 Choose the measurement instrument based on dimensional specification.
 Acknowledge measurement request and prioritize workload based on priority.
 Perform statistical process capability study and interpret the result.
 Do basic trouble shooting in case of measurement error found. Find the root
cause and propose action plan.
 Meet measurement turnaround time and deliver error free report.
 Ensure measurement accuracy and precision and prepare inspection report

Skills Required

Skill required:
- CMM programing
- SPC
- MSA
- GD&T ISO8015, ISO1101, ISO2768
- I2P / 8D Problem Solving
- Proficient in Microsoft excel, power point and word
- 3 to 5 years of experience in metrology lab
- Experience in working as individual contributor
- Knowledge on supply chain, logistics & purchasing is added advantage.
