Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation is looking to engage with a Consultant Python Automation Tester to join the team and contribute to the development and execution of manual system tests and automated test scripts. As a Python Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, proficiency in Python programming, and experience in test automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Python.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test automation strategies.
-Create and execute automated test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
-Identify, document, and track software defects, issues, and risks using bug tracking systems.
-Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from expected outcomes.
-Work closely with developers and product owners to ensure timely resolution of identified defects and issues.
-Participate in the review and improvement of the software development lifecycle processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
-Continuously update and enhance automated test suites to keep pace with evolving software requirements and technologies.
-Conduct exploratory testing and provide feedback on user experience and usability aspects.
-Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to test automation.

Onsite Location: Bangalore (5 days in office)
- Ideal candidate is passionate about test automation technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role, with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Python.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and processes.
- Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with automation frameworks (such as Selenium, Pytest, or Robot Framework).
- Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application testing.
- Experience with API testing and knowledge of RESTful services.
- Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
- Automation of tests related to embedded devices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications would be a plus.
