Assignment Details

Our client, a renowned global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking a highly skilled Independent Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python development and hands-on experience with AWS. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying scalable, reliable, and efficient software solutions tailored to meet dynamic business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using Python on AWS platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
Develop and optimize cloud-based solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment processes.
Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Step Functions, and more to build cloud-native solutions.
Ensure application security and high availability while troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
Adopt best practices for software engineering, including coding standards, testing, and version control.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest their adoption to enhance project outcomes.

Skills Required

Extensive experience in Python development with proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, S3, Step Functions, ECS, and CloudFormation.
Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent).
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Familiarity with serverless architectures and scalable, cloud-native application design.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Certifications in AWS (preferred but not mandatory).
