Our client, a leading global investment firm is looking to engage with a Industry Advisor – IT Services (Vietnam & Japan Markets).
We are seeking seasoned Industry Advisors with a strong background in IT Services, specifically in areas such as IT Transformation, Software Development, and Systems Integration, to support a strategic consulting engagement. This short-term, high-impact role requires individuals with 15+ years of experience in the IT sector and deep market knowledge of Vietnam and/or Japan. You will collaborate closely with a global consulting team to provide insights, guidance, and industry expertise relevant to client challenges in these regional markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a subject matter expert on IT Services, including IT transformation, software development lifecycles, and system integration.
2. Provide strategic insights and validation on local market trends, customer expectations, and competitive landscapes in Vietnam and/or Japan.
3. Support market entry/expansion strategies and operational assessments through 1:1 discussions and working sessions.
4. Review, validate, and enhance deliverables including go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and capability mapping.
5. Advise on best practices, potential risks, and localization nuances from a technology and business perspective.
This is a remote, full-time consulting role for a duration of approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
The role requires availability during standard business hours, with some flexibility to accommodate cross-time zone collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
1. 15+ years of experience in IT Services, ideally across IT strategy, delivery, and transformation initiatives.
2. Prior leadership or advisory roles within major IT firms or consultancies.
3. Strong understanding of the Vietnamese and/or Japanese IT landscape, customer expectations, and local market practices.
4. Experience working in or with organizations operating in these regions is highly preferred.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
