Assignment Details
Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is looking to engage with a Digital Automation Lead who will work closely with respective Digital Business Partners and Project Managers across the Digital organization, leading Digital & Automation programs through a matrix project team and will foster a culture of Innovation within the organization.
• Operate as a Digital evangelist and an SME on Emerging Technology in Pharma, enabling the creation of a Digital and Automation roadmap, and own delivery responsibilities of specific use cases
• Create and lead the Digital and Automation Centre of Excellence, providing thought leadership on new Digital initiatives based on expert understanding on Emerging Technology in the Pharma industry, working with potential service providers and start-ups
• Responsible for ideation, selection and delivery of Digital and Automation use cases and projects, in conjunction with the Digital Business Partners and Business stakeholders, showing measurable value back to the Business through a KPI-based evaluation and measurement criteria
• Responsible for execution and delivery of identified Digital and Automation use cases, on schedule delivery, with measurement of the eventual benefits against the targeted KPIs
• Manage inventory and knowledge of emerging technologies and successful startups, with intent on value-based implementation success
• Manages risks and issues, identifies mitigations and workarounds and seeks management attention proactively when required
YEAR ONE CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS
• Successfully setup the management of the Digital CoE aligned to business needs and specific use cases in flight towards a successful measurable rollout
• Successfully complete Automation engagements within time, cost and quality standards, in line with project team expectations
Skills Required
• Bachelor’s in engineering/technology or master’s degree in a related discipline, including a minimum of 10-15 years of experience gained in Emerging Technology, Digital, and Automation space relevant to the Pharma industry
• Specific experience in leading medium to large scale Digital and Automation programs in a Pharma environment
• Excellent oral/ written communication skills
• Self-starter, with the ability to work and execute independently with minimal support
