Our client, a leading American multinational manufacturer of confectionery and pet food, is looking to engage with a Market intelligence and Spend analytics consultant.
The role will be responsible for running and improving spend inflation projection process
within the organization with inputs from market intelligence agencies and internal
stakeholders. It will also involve setting up processes to improve spend classification
and reporting in the systems used within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understanding of market intelligence mechanics and inflation projection
• Strong experience analyzing spend data within a CPG business, with the ability to
apply that knowledge to spend analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, INDEX/MATCH, and data
visualization techniques.
• Ability to manipulate large datasets, perform trend analysis, and summarize key
insights efficiently.
• Experience merging and reconciling data from multiple sources
• Ability to translate complex data insights into clear, concise, and actionable
recommendations.
• Comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Proactive in identifying risks and opportunities based on data-driven insights.
• Documenting methodologies used in analysis to ensure consistency and repeatability.
• Creating templates and frameworks for future analytics projects.

• Excel (mandatory) – Advanced analytics and visualization
• Power BI or similar tools
• Familiarity with financial systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar (optional)
