Our client, a public think tank is looking for a Python Developer. Our client, uses large-scale datasets to derive insights into the country's readiness for climate change. Using advanced Natural Language Processing techniques, we are developing a skills-based jobs matching tool for India. We seek to hire a suitable candidate who can lead and deliver on tool development and analysis. An ideal candidate should be proficient in using Python and large language models to extract and model text data on worker skills.
Responsibilities and accountabilities-
● Extract and clean text data from the web.
● Use open-source libraries for text analysis, including matching, classification and clustering.
● Conduct robustness checks on the findings
● Lead the design and development of responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and UX/UI designers. ● Optimise applications for speed and scalability, contributing to frontend architectural decisions. ● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and conduct thorough code reviews.
● Work with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported issues.
● 1-3 years of experience
● Strong proficiency in Python and other programming languages.
● Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
● B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA from a premier engineering institute (preferred, but not mandatory).
● Experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented production-grade code.
● Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile
● Experience with using and fine-tuning HuggingFace models.
● Good familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

We do not charge any fee or commission from you. Your fee quote will be paid out to you in full as per your project contract.
