Our client, the world leader in premium international champagnes and spirits is looking to engage with a HRBP.
The HRBP – Manufacturing will act as a strategic partner to plant leadership, driving people
initiatives to enhance productivity, employee engagement, and compliance. The role will focus
on workforce management, industrial relations, talent development, and fostering a
performance-driven culture on the shopfloor.
Key Responsibilities:
● Partner with plant leadership to align HR initiatives with manufacturing goals.
● Manage end-to-end employee life cycle processes for plant employees, including
onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits.
● Drive manpower planning, shift management, and optimal workforce utilisation as per
production demands.
● Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies at the
plant.
● Handle disciplinary actions, grievance management, and employee relations effectively.
● Collaborate with central COEs for talent acquisition, performance management, rewards,
and L&D implementation at the plant.
● Lead employee engagement initiatives to build morale, productivity, and retention.
● Support capability building of plant workforce through skill mapping, training needs
analysis, and coordination of technical/behavioural trainings.
● Drive HR MIS, dashboards, and periodic reporting for plant HR metrics.
● Maintain harmonious industrial relations; manage union negotiations if applicable.
● Promote EHS culture in coordination with the Safety team and plant management
Key Skills and Competencies:
● Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance in manufacturing.
● Experience in employee relations and managing blue-collar workforce.
● Ability to influence and partner with plant leadership effectively.
● Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
● Hands-on approach with shopfloor connect.
● Proficiency in HR systems and data analysis.
● MBA/PGDM in HR or MSW from a reputed institute.
● 4-8 years of HR experience, preferably with 2+ years in a manufacturing plant setup.
● Experience in managing unionised environments is an advantage
