Our client is one of the world's leading global logistics provider, looking at hiring a Learning & Development Consultant to be based at their office in Gurgaon.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Learning and Development Manager will play a critical role in the day-to-day learning and development (L&D) activities and within the HR team.
This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees through training need analysis, training plans, facilitating trainings execution & evaluation.
This role will coordinate all L&D activities but also partner with business managers & relevant stakeholders, training partners
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Training Requirements
o Manage Training Needs, Training Offerings and Training Plan for on-roll and agency employees.
o Conduct Training Need Analysis, identifying knowledge/skill gaps, customize or develop training modules & deliver the same.
o Working on Learning Management System (LMS) to Maintain up-to-date knowledge &; disseminate any new updates or requirements appropriately to the target audience. Data upload, download and regular data clean-up.
o Training content development and training delivery, executing training programs.
o Familiar with Learning Principles and Training Effectiveness, Instructor Led Trainings and E-Learning training programs.
o Fairly comfortable and updated on relevant technological advantages.
MIS/Data Management
o Monitor & update stakeholders on Training performance of target audience through analysis of key operations metrics, identify knowledge or skill gaps &; address the same through training or coaching.
o Develop and maintain up-to-date training and personal development plans for all staff.
o Monitor training spends & ensure adherence to budgets.
o Maintain the training hard-copy, soft-copy records.
o Administers LMS, Training communications, Reminders, Attendance &; Assessment
o Periodically analyze MIS & report outcome for continuous improvement
o Responsible for Data Analysis, Training records, Trackers & Dashboards
o Responsible for meeting training throughputs and goals
Vendor Management
o Identify and Manage Training Partners / vendors.
o Responsible for vendor contracts (new/renewal), registration, billing & payments.
o Ensure effective stakeholder management.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
o Affinity with employee learning and learning technologies, learning methodology & tools (LMS etc.)
o Possess analytical ability, Computer literate.
o Facilitation & presentation skills, effective verbal and written Communication, Interpersonal Skills
o Able to design / produce relevant training materials / curriculum for instructor-led/e-Learning.
o Familiarity with e-learning platforms
o Able to solve problems quickly and resolve issues.
o Collaborate effectively with other relevant stakeholders / management.
o Act as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development
o Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies, MS Office Applications
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
o 6+ years of relevant experience in learning & skilling space; and/or related business experience
o Bachelor’s degree in HRM, psychology, education; Post Graduation in any stream
o Certified Professional in Learning and Development is preferred
