Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global FMCG organisation, is looking to engage with a Functional Learning Academy Specialist Consultant for a 12-month project.

The functional learning team partners with global functions (Finance, HR, R&D and Legal).

Key Deliverables:

Project Overview: The consultant will design and roll out learning interventions for the R&D function. This includes: defining the learning objectives, scoping the content, delivery method and impact metrics to measure the best outcome for the business. You will work with a network of internal and external partners to build the learning interventions and deliver them at scale. These interventions could be related to different areas of expertise and delivered through different ways (eg social learning, virtual, online, face to face). You will work to maintain the skills infrastructure to support self-service learning and skills insights for the R&D function.

Key Deliverables:

- Design new programmes: R&D Onboarding, R&D Foundation, R&D Digital upskilling, R&D partnering programme;
- Support on ongoing R&D programmes
- Build / Update skills and role plans;
- From the learning needs, identify the business objectives, the learning objectives, the different content blocks, delivery methods, criteria for success and KPIs for your learning programme;
- Define and map out the learning journey, maximising learner experience.
- Engage, brief and partner with the right internal and external experts and vendors to develop and deliver the learning intervention.
- Source and curate internal or external content, quality checking and integrating into your learning programme as appropriate. Build new content when required.
- Manage your programme budget and timing. Pilot your learning intervention, learn from it, iterate.
- Keep up to speed with latest technology and development in the area of learning both internally and externally to leverage good practices and nurture your learning expertise.
- Drive a learning mind-set in everything you do and keep the business and learner impact top of mind.

Nature of Work: Onsite/ Hybrid (Mumbai/ Bangalore)

Skills Required

- 5 to 6 years of experience in design and deliver new learning intervention;
- Hands on experience in learning & development across functional areas like technology, R&D, SCM etc;
- Ability to manage a budget and make decisions;
- Demonstrated project/process management ability;
- Solid understanding of the R&D function;
- Influencing others (especially those more senior and not reporting to you).
The influencing skills to manage others (in the business) who do not directly report to you is a key focus in this role – ensuring that you deliver the agenda the business needs with the help of others who may have competing time priorities.
