Assignment Details

Our client, a leading housing finance company, is seeking a Head - Talent Acquisition Consultant to lead and stabilise the TA function during a transition phase, ensuring business-critical hiring, process governance, improved offer-joining conversions and readiness for smooth handover when the full-time Head TA joins.

 

Key Responsibilities


1. TA Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the TA function end-to-end across Pan India locations.
  • Drive hiring priorities aligned with business goals (sales, operations, credit, collections, corporate positions).
  • Provide daily guidance, coaching, and monitoring of TA executives & TA Team Leads.
  • TA governance, compliance, compensation grid adherence and documentation.


2. High-Volume Hiring Delivery

  • Ensure achievement of daily/weekly/monthly hiring numbers as per AOP.
  • Drive bulk hiring, walk-in drives, weekend drives, sourcing sprints based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, ZMs/NMs to forecast manpower and close gaps quickly.
  • Managing the sourcing channels effectively.


3. Offer–Joining Conversion & Quality Metrics

  • Strengthen offer-to-joining ratio, early attrition, and documentation accuracy.
  • Adherence to TAT-driven selection processes.
  • Ensure rigorous pre-employment validation (documents, RCUs, references).


4. Process Strengthening & Reporting

  • Adherence to SOPs on hiring guidelines, compensation grid adherence & diversity hiring.
  • Track and publish weekly dashboards: manning %, hiring funnel, gender hiring, source mix.
  • Standardize candidate experience and closure communication.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with internal audit and HR governance norms.


5. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage recruitment agencies, walk-in partners, and job portal relationships.
  • Ensure performance SLAs, and drive delivery through vendors.


6. Transition Management & Handover

  • Document all processes, dashboards, trackers, and governance mechanisms.
  • Prepare a smooth handover to the incoming on-roll Head of TA.
  • Recommend structural improvements for long-term TA efficiency and scalability.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience leading TA teams in high-volume hiring environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management (CHRO, Business Heads, Zonal Leaders).
  • Deep understanding of field hiring, sales/collections hiring cycles, and attrition drivers.
  • Strong command of data, dashboards, TA analytics, and MIS.
  • Ability to implement structured processes quickly.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration & team leadership skills.
  • High execution orientation and hands-on delivery mindset.
  • 10–15 years of experience in TA (preferably BFSI/NBFC/HFC/High volume hiring + campus hiring)
  • Hands-on leadership of a large TA team and experience in pan-India hiring operations.
  • Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred)
