Our client, a global leader in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking and Independent Consultant with strong experience in HR Operating Model design, HR Services, and Organisational Transformation to support the development of Schneider Electric’s new HR model. The ideal candidate brings a consulting mindset and hands-on expertise in topics such as HR Transformation, HR Services org/HR Shared Services, Organizational Design with process and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct current-state assessments of HR structures, processes, and service delivery models.
Support the design and development of future-state HR Operating Models, including roles, workflows, interfaces, and governance frameworks.
Lead or contribute to workshops, interviews, and working sessions with HR stakeholders across functions and geographies.
Develop recommendations for HR process simplification, cost optimisation, and efficiency improvement.
Prepare high-quality presentations, analysis, and documentation to support decision-making with senior HR leadership.
Partner with HRBPs, HR Services teams, and transformation leaders to ensure alignment on design principles and implementation roadmaps.
Support change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and transition support.
Background in management consulting (or similar project-based environments).
Strong understanding of HR Operating Models, including frameworks, roles, handoffs, and governance (HR services operation knowledge is a plus).
Experience with HR Shared Services / Global Business Services, HR process redesign, and cost optimization.
Knowledge of organisational strategy, workforce transitions, change management, and org transformation.
Ability to assess current-state HR structures and design future-state HR models, including operational workflows, interfaces with HRBPs, and digital enablers.
Familiarity with cost-out initiatives, efficiency, and simplification of HR processes.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment and partnering with HR stakeholders at C-level.
Seniority level:
Consultant or Senior Consultant level, but with solid foundations in HR transformation and operating model design.
