Assignment Details

Our client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is looking to engage with a HR Consultant with a strong background in Organizational Development (OD) and Human Resources (HR) consulting for their project on Leadership Assessment and Succession Planning.

Roles & Responsibilities:

A. Leadership Assessment and Critical Role Identification:
1. Conduct interviews with 30 selected leaders at VP/Director-levels to evaluate their roles and capabilities.
2. Identify and assess the criticality of these roles for the organization's strategic growth.
3. Develop detailed profiles for approximately 15 critical roles, providing insights for the leadership assessment stage.

B. Assessment Center Design and Execution:
1. Design and execute a top-notch assessment center to evaluate potential leaders.
2. Utilize various assessment tools, including Hogan assessments, simulators (e.g., inbox exercises, case studies, management games, and group discussions).
3. Map competencies based on success profiles to identify individual and group gap areas.

C. Program Development for Leadership Evaluation:
1. Develop a comprehensive program to test and evaluate potential leaders on core values and organizational goals.
2. Assist in shortlisting high-potential individuals and high performers for leadership roles.

D. Training and Development:
1. Devise and implement training modules and programs to upskill and refine leadership competencies.
2. Address pain points and development needs through targeted training in areas such as soft skills, communication, critical thinking, and logical problem-solving.

E. Collaboration with HR Department:
1. Work closely with key HR department SPOCs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
2. Provide regular updates and reports on the progress and outcomes of the leadership assessment and development programs.

This project is for a duration for 2-3 months in a Part Time Capacity in an Onsite Model based in Bangalore. The timelines/ capacity are flexible and will be discussed between the client and consultant.

Skills Required

1. Proven experience in HR consulting and Organizational Development, particularly in leadership assessment and succession planning.
2. Experience working with VP/Director-level leaders in large organizations.
3. A track record of successfully implementing leadership assessment and succession planning projects.
4. Strong interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to identify critical roles and high-potential leaders.
5. Proficiency in using various assessment tools, including Hogan assessments and other simulators.
5. Excellent program design and implementation skills, with a focus on leadership development.
6. Strong analytical and reporting skills to provide detailed insights and recommendations.
7. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with HR department SPOCs and other stakeholders.
8. Ability to devise and deliver targeted training programs addressing various leadership competencies.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address development needs and pain points effectively.
