Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global FMCG company, is looking for Senior People Partner consultant in Bangalore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Partner with line managers to provide guidance on individual employee matters and HR processes.
2. Resolve complex employee queries using HR policies, systems, legal knowledge, and sound judgment.
3. Maintain and update knowledge platforms like UNA Hub and share insights to improve HR technology.
4. Support employee relations (ER) casework, ensuring compliance with employment laws and HR policies.
5. Provide hands-on support for performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, leave, flexible working, and redundancy processes.
6. Promote Unilever’s standards of behaviour and help resolve conflicts in line with the Code of Business Principles.
7. Build trust with employees and managers by being a neutral and fair facilitator in resolving concerns.
8. Identify ER trends, coach managers, and recommend proactive solutions to address root causes.
9. Collaborate with HR teams (HRBPs, Payroll, Reward, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to resolve queries and deliver seamless support.
10. Act as the first point of contact for complex people-related matters within the assigned business area.
11. Actively engage in process simplification projects.

Location- Bangalore 
Capacity- Full Time (Hybrid- 3days wfo, 2 days wfh)

Skills Required

  1. Employee Relations (ER) handling – grievances, disciplinary actions, performance issues
  2. Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance
  3. Expertise in performance management conversations and manager coaching
  4. Conflict resolution and neutral facilitation skills
  5. Ability to resolve complex employee queries with sound judgment
  6. Stakeholder management across HRBPs, Payroll, Reward, and TA
  7. Case management and documentation accuracy
  8. HR systems and knowledge platform management (e.g., HRIS, query tools)
  9. Strong communication, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills
  10. Process improvement and simplification mindset

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold an MBA in Human Resource Management and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HR.
