Assignment Details

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is looking to engage with a Sales & Operations Consultant Planning Consultant for 3 months project.

The project is mainly in the 4 key areas:
o Demand Planning
o Supply Planning
o Production Planning
o Distribution Planning

1. Drive the S&OP process for 2 cycles to standardize the process until the key stakeholders are aligned on the process and process issues are resolved.

2. Identify talent within the organization to drive and sustain the S&OP process to make it most cost effective.

3. Develop the relevant KPIs and reports to measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics

Key Deliverables:

o Facilitate the monthly S&OP process with all multifunctional stakeholders by preparing all
the requirements for S&OP;
o Prepare for the S&OP meetings, reconciling supply to demand, aligning with the financial
plans, and analyzing the financial implications of different scenarios;
o Collaborate with all the stakeholders to ensure for unobstructed supply chain by
assessing and controlling risks and analyzing relevant data proactively.

I. Demand Planning:
o Collect all the data required for the S&OP meeting including actual sales data, sales
forecast, in-house and in-market inventory, and other events impacting on supply chain.
o Review and analyze the forecast demand versus actual demand, understanding changes
and trends.

II. Supply Planning:
o Consolidate production requirements from difference business units and provide the
production plan to the manufacturing team;
o Co-ordination with the Regulatory team for any potential changes in the artworks for the
export orders.

III. Distribution Planning:
o Evaluate the distribution network and prepare/execute a plan to lead network optimization process to mitigate costs and maximize service
o Identify the optimal safety stock levels across the Global Distribution Center (mother
warehouse) and the C&F centers to reduce inter depot transfers.

Note: This is 3 months project with full time capacity. For the first 2 months, the consultant would be required to work onsite (Hyderabad).

Skills Required

-Prior experience in sales and operations planning is preferred;
- Hands on expertise in demand planning, supply planning, production planning and distribution planning.
- Resulted oriented and multiple stakeholder management.
- Prior experience in pharmaceuticals industry is a must have.
