Assignment Details
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, and other stakeholders, contributing to the growth and impact of the Client.
Key Responsibilities:
A) Partnership Development:
1.Identify, engage, and cultivate strategic partnerships with NGOs, government entities, and other relevant organizations in the social sector.
2. Develop a comprehensive understanding of potential partners' goals and objectives to align with client's mission.
B) Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and concerns.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between client's initiatives and external partners' expectations.
C) Communication and Advocacy:
1. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively convey client's vision, mission, and value proposition to potential partners.
2. Advocate for client within the social sector, showcasing its impact and fostering a positive external perception.
D) Negotiation and Agreement:
1. Lead negotiations and discussions to establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
2. Draft and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
E) Cross-Functional Collaboration:
1. Work closely with internal teams, including program managers, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
2. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of client's partnership strategy.
Skills Required
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
2. Proven experience of 10-14 years in partnership development, preferably within the social sector.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and build consensus.
5. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing partnership agreements.
6. Understanding of the social, economic, and political landscape in India.
7. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
