Assignment Details

Our Client World's leading health and safety organization is looking to engage with a Consultant- Head of PSM (India).

Roles and Responsibilities: 

1. Technical Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to manage all technical aspects of Process Safety Management (PSM) in India.

2. Service Delivery Ownership: Plan, manage, and deliver all technical aspects of PSM consultancy, auditing, and training services, ensuring high-quality standards.

3. Delivery Planning: Develop and implement plans to meet delivery requirements, taking on senior responsibilities in service delivery when needed.

4. Team Management: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of PSM technical personnel, ensuring strong team competency and quality assurance.

5. Operational Management: Manage key operational responsibilities such as scoping, resource allocation, quality assurance, and standardization across all PSM services.

6. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to prepare and execute strategic plans for the growth and commercial success of PSM services.

7. Product Leadership: Act as the lead for PSM services, ensuring consistency and alignment across different business functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations).

8. Support for Sales and Operations: Provide technical guidance to sales and operations teams, supporting them in service promotion, training, and client meetings.

9. Product Development and Maintenance: Oversee the development, modification, and ongoing improvement of PSM services to ensure technical validity and efficiency.

10. Issue Resolution: Support investigations and corrective actions related to complaints or issues arising from PSM service deliveries.

11. Internal Collaboration: Work with various internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT) to promote awareness of PSM services and support tendering processes.

12. Process Optimization: Ensure operational efficiency by collaborating with stakeholders and using IT solutions to streamline processes.

13. Professional Development: Maintain professional competency, fulfill CPD requirements, and stay updated on PSM-related developments.
 

Skills Required

Skillset Required: 

  • Demonstrated competency in PSM through relevant frameworks, training, and assessments.
  • Relevant Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Experience in auditing protocols and processes.
  • IT literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent instructional and presentation skills.
  • Strong report writing and written communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in PSM and OHS principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Significant experience managing PSM-related responsibilities in organizations or as a consultant.
  • Proven delivery experience in PSM consultancy, auditing, and training.
  • Experience in line management of technical personnel.
  • Demonstrable experience in client relationship management.
  • Experience in managing third-party suppliers and associates.
