Our Client is a United States–based nonprofit environmental advocacy group, and is looking to engage with a Project manager having experience with Wildlife management.
Scope of Work & Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for the project, liaising with team in India ,
Keystone Foundation, Farmers for Forests and the Forest Team in the U.S., as well
as the TN and MH government officials.
Coordinate with key stakeholders, including government agencies, Indigenous and local
communities, research institutions, NGOs, and multilateral organizations.
Develop and implement a detailed work plan to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Organize and facilitate workshops, policy dialogues, and training sessions.
Ensure project outputs align with India’s climate and biodiversity policies.
Prepare progress reports and documentation for monitoring and evaluation.
Provide technical support and recommendations for wildfire prevention strategies.
Facilitate collaboration between national and local government authorities to integrate
wildfire management into policy frameworks.
Conduct internal travel within India to engage with stakeholders, oversee training
programs, and implement project activities.
Work independently, demonstrating self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and the
ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Duration- 9 months (Extendable)
Location-Tamil Nadu /Maharashtra /Bangalore /mostly Southern Part of India

-Experience in wildfire management, policy advocacy, or conservation
programs.
-Strong understanding of wildfire dynamics, climate change influences, and policy
frameworks in India.
-Experience in stakeholder engagement and policy integration.
-Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs and workshops.
-Previous experience working with national and local governments in India, as well as
with international organizations, NGOs, and multilateral institutions.
-Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi or regional languages is highly desirable.
-Ability to travel within India as required by the project.
-Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability, and problem-
solving skills.
