Assignment Details

An emerging Indian MNC is looking for an independent consultant to support its Centre of Excellence (CoE) team. CoE is part of the larger corporate service team within the group and is responsible for program/project management of business excellence focussed transformation initiatives. Some of the current focus areas for the team are implementation of digital transformation initiatives including measurement of Group digital maturity, initiatives emanating from RBNQA evaluation, internal idea incubation lab setup, OD initiatives, Sustainability, and driving knowledge management (KM) initiative. In addition, since the CoE team works as the internal consultants for the Group, it also takes on several short-term interventions on behalf of the Group leadership. As the team is expanding, it is looking for independent consultant support for its various activities which include:
- Program Management of Transformation Initiatives
- Project Management of a specific initiative (eg. Salesforce implementation, OD project on setting up a new operating model for the org etc.)
- Ideation/solutioning support on various initiatives
- Running process improvement and other excellence initiatives (for e.g Streamline and standardize the Supplier lifecycle management process, Reduction in TAT of the invoice management process etc.)
- Driving KM initiative

The team is looking for an Independent Consultant, ideally an MBA from a good institute, with 6-10 years of consulting and project management experience for an initial duration of 3 months. Experience in the related services industry would be highly desirable. Past experience in digital transformation and knowledge management as well as exposure to RBNQA/Malcolm Balridge framework and sustainability will be helpful. The project duration may get extended based on the needs of the team. Further, based on the performance and mutual agreement, the consultant may also be offered a permanent position in the team.

- Primary and Secondary Research skills
- Good analytical ability including excel modeling
- Ability to craft and communicate succinct presentations for C-suite
