Flexing It is a curated platform that helps organizations access and work with high quality Independent consultants, and project-based resources efficiently and at scale. We are creating solutions that support the Professional Gig Economy and make using external resources seamless.
We are looking for a Manager to join our Business Development team, to partner with us in building out the platform and growing the ‘demand’ side, i.e., pool of quality projects and assignments on the platform.
Key responsibilities:
Build and Execute Sales Plan in line with the broader business development strategy
Developing and managing the outreach strategy across various segments of corporate users i.e., MNCs, start-ups, investors.
Developing targeted value propositions and communications materials for various segments of corporate users
Own a portfolio of clients and drive the engagement with them - conduct regular analysis of platform usage and trends, determine key issues / insights and suggest actions
Regular follow-ups with key clients and developing strong client relationships
Managing own and team’s BD pipeline - tracking communications, success rates, etc.
Independently, pitch the concept, manage follow-up, and ensure leads’ questions are answered
Support the development of proposals for new and existing clients
Stay up to date about any upcoming relevant events, conferences and seminars, attending the same.
Support design of key strategic initiatives through analytics and primary research
Envision and execute strategic partnerships e.g., industry associations, universities.
Refine the company outreach strategy jointly with the CEO and Marketing teams based on data on skills, usage patterns, success rates for different types of roles and organizations
Self-starter with high energy – some experience in a fast-growing startup will be a plus
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with MS Excel and Power Point
5+ years of work experience in consulting or business development
B2B sales and account management experience will be particularly relevant
Ability to formulate and lead execution for their own sales plan
Strong communication and inter-personal skills
Personal and professional integrity
