Assignment Details

Our client is one of the largest PE firms in the country with a focus on taking high quality late stage companies to their IPO. They are looking for a team of consultants for an extremely high impact and strategic initiative to develop a researched product on success factors in taking a company public that

(a) captures their learnings over the years of successfully taking multiple companies public and
(b) synthesizes these into a high-quality end product that can be shared externally.

The project will involve:

(a) Undertaking research into best practices and key success factors in what constitutes successful IPO journeys.
(b) Analyzing the clients performance based on:
- benchmarking returns for their IPOs vs the norm/market on key metrics
- speaking with stakeholders who were involved in select IPO processes to drive what worked well
(c) Supporting the senior consultant in synthesizing the findings from the research and interviews to derive a strong narrative and view point on how to approach taking a company public and the key factors that matter (backed by research)

P.S. - This project would require the consultant to invest full time capacity

Skills Required

(a) Experience in a Top-tier consulting firm would be preferred.
(b) Experience in Investment, Private Equity, Venture Capital is a must.
(c) Prior experience of working with a company going through an IPO process will be a huge plus.
(d) Strong research and data analytics skills
(e) Ability to quickly derive insights from analysis and stakeholder conversations
