Assignment Details

Our client is the leading FMCG Firm and they are looking to engage with a Consultant- Supply Chain Finance

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring data hygiene and accuracy of all non-material cost levers (including production, distribution, and business waste)
2. Working with Finance Manager and FP&A teams to prepare insights on sourcing matrix optimization / network optimization.
3. Tracking and governance on innovation and savings projects
4. Regular reconciliation of Innovation BOMs and production BOMs at plant -basepack level
5. Working closely with procurement team for annual reconciliation of contract manufacturer costing sheets, periodic audit/reconciliation of 2P costs forecast vs actuals.
6. Supporting Finance Manager for evaluation of capex proposals
7. Variance analysis of material and non-material cost against forecast
8. Preparation of replacement gross margin at basepack-geography (and sales channel) level for decision making
9. Ad-hoc support on multiple projects across all supply chain cost lines

Skills Required

Must have:
1. Candidate must be professionally qualified (CA / CMA/MBA from Tier 1-2 college)
2. Post qualification experience of 1+ years
3. Technical knowledge of Cost accounting, cost control, variance analysis, capital budgeting
4. Proficiency in MS Excel – able to operate Lookup & Logical formulae, use of keyboard shortcuts, use of charts/other graphical tools
5. Fluency in interpersonal and communication skills
6. Ability to work on large data-sets and solve problems independently within timelines

Good to have:
1. Prior experience in Big 6 Audit Firms and/or Industrial Training in a reputed manufacturing company
2. Working Knowledge of SAP FICO and MM module
3. Knowledge of FMCG business and sound business acumen
4. Prior knowledge of in logistics or supply chain finance function
