Assignment Details
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is looking to engage with a Chief Financial Officer.
Following are the key deliverables-
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations for all subsidiaries.
Lead the consolidation of financial statements across the headquarters and subsidiaries.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner.
Implement and manage a comprehensive manufacturing costing system at the subsidiary level.
Provide financial analytics and insights to the CEO and Management Team to inform decision-making and evaluate initiatives.
Maintain relationships with banks and act as the primary liaison with financial institutions.
Develop and sustain close relationships with potential capital providers.
Prepare cash flow projections and recommend cash preservation initiatives based on subsidiary inputs.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Report financial risks to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Manage revenue recognition and ensure adherence to accounting standards and compliance requirements.
Review, implement, and monitor internal controls, systems, processes, and procedures to safeguard the integrity of financial information and reporting.
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and other financial documents required by governing bodies.
Oversee risk management practices and secure appropriate insurance coverage for critical assets and business activities.
Budgeting and Long-Range Planning:
Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with the CEO to provide guidance, prepare projections, and defend the financial plan to the board.
Contribute financial insights to the development of long-term strategic plans, aligning financial goals with business objectives.
Skills Required
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -
- At least 15 years of experience in finance management
- Exposure to emerging markets including India

- Strong leadership skills
- Strong focus on compliance matters
