Our client, a leading global mining organization is looking for a Senior Analyst-Expense Management responsible for ensuring consistent delivery of services in expense management processes, including accurate and timely processing of expense reports/related queries, analysis of expense delays, and level 2 quality checking for the service line.
The scope of work will include (but not limited to) below:
1. Timely & accurate processing of expense reports / related queries:
• Efficient and accurate processing of expense/related queries within the given SLA. This includes credit card management, out-of-pocket expenses, central travel account and GL reconciliation services, bank expense management, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address expense management queries efficiently and effectively.
2. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Serve as a level 2 quality checker for the service line and ensure that payments are processed accurately and adhere to established guidelines and policies.
3. Continuous Improvement:
• Analyze expense delays, and existing workflows, identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
4. Adherence to Policies and Guidelines:
• Ensure compliance with companies policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), and guidelines regarding expense management.
5. Professional Development:
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to payment processing and financial operations.
• Participate in training programs and seek opportunities for professional growth to enhance knowledge and skills in the expense management domain.
Skills Required
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in the P2P domain, especially in Expense Management, Central Travel Accounts and Reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in using accounting software and systems for expense management such as concur, with knowledge of relevant modules and functionalities.
• Familiarity with expense management workflows, and processes
• Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
