Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global FMCG organisation, is seeking to engage a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Consultant to support their finance function.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Conduct variance analysis and deliver insights on key financial metrics, trends, and performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with business units to analyse financial data and identify cost optimisation and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in developing KPIs and tracking performance against internal benchmarks and strategic goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, marketing, etc.) to ensure alignment between financial plans and business objectives.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and evolving best practices in FP&A.

Skills Required

  • Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong financial acumen
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ability to interpret financial data and derive actionable insights
  • Experience with financial reporting, dashboards, and presentation development
  • Strong business partnering and cross-functional collaboration skills
