Assignment Details

Our Client, a leading FMCG organisation is looking for Consultant- Finance Analyst (Supply Chain). The Finance Analyst – Supply Chain Finance will play a pivotal role in driving gross margin improvement initiatives within the Personal Care Business Group. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the savings funnel, ensuring robust financial governance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute cost optimization projects.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 


1. Savings Funnel Management

Own and maintain the savings funnel for the Personal Care Business Group.

Track cost-saving initiatives across Procurement and R&D, ensuring financial validation and alignment with gross margin improvement targets.

Monitor project timelines, identify potential risks, and proactively flag issues impacting savings realization.


2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Procurement and R&D teams to evaluate cost-efficiency projects and support decision-making through financial insights.

Develop financial models and conduct scenario analysis for proposed initiatives.

Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of project outcomes.


3. Performance Tracking & Reporting

Prepare monthly dashboards and conduct variance analysis to assess savings delivery performance.

Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes by integrating updated savings funnel inputs.

Present actionable insights and recommendations to the leadership team to support data-driven decision-making.

Skills Required

Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools

Solid understanding of supply chain cost structures and key business drivers

Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior leadership

Exposure to FMCG or manufacturing environments will be an advantage
