Our client, a Leading Beauty Company is looking to engage with a Consultant to manage the Finance function.
About the Role and Opportunity:
As the Finance Team Leader, you'll lead financial operations, providing vital support to the leadership team and collaborating closely with the GM to drive growth and profitability. You'll ensure proper governance over marketing expenses and fixed costs, promoting an ROI mindset and transparent reporting for marketing performance. Managing all financial and accounting activities, including strategic planning, distributor analysis, and integration, you'll oversee FX risk management and implement controls for client credit and internal audits, handling special projects as needed
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide financial acumen and strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and help General Managers run their operations as “businesses”, generating adequate returns per business plan.
2. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results recommending
corrective actions
3. Responsible for overall cash flow and working capital management, forecasting and reporting
4. Seek new growth prospects for the business unit
5. Manage country cluster/division and Balance sheet, Profitability analysis of existing portfolio by category and customer.
6. Lead the Regional budgeting and forecasting process including goal setting, monthly variance analysis and peer group metrics for the region. Provide measurement against goals for a timely valuation of performance.
7. Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the regional finance team, as well as develop
8. Track local commercial budget and non-commercial budget
9. Drive commercial spending ROI, Understand brand goals and strategies as well as company’s financial policies and provide analyses to help marketing and sales achieve goals
10. Coordinate with local marketing team to review marketing business plan: Provide financial analysis of proposed new items, programs, and licenses for go/no-go decisions support, Drive local analysis at brand level , Coordinate with local marketing to build local launch model
11. Ensure proper allocation of spending across brands and cost buckets
12. Identify brand profitability drivers / Provide brand and channel analysis as required by management.
This project is for a duration of 3 months and requires the consultant to work On- Site in Mumbai devoting their Full-Time Capacity.
