Assignment Details

Our client is a leading company in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) business and is looking for an experienced Consultant – Bidding to support techno-commercial tendering activities for EHV Substation and Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1-Prepare detailed technical proposals in line with tender requirements, including compliance statements and documentation.

2-Analyze tender documents to ensure complete understanding of scope, specifications, and evaluation criteria.

3-Develop detailed BOQs (Electrical & Civil) based on drawings, specifications, and project scope.

4-Float RFQs to qualified vendors and manage end-to-end vendor communication.

5-Follow up with vendors to ensure timely submission of quotations and technical documents.

6-Conduct technical and commercial evaluation of vendor offers and prepare comparison sheets.

7-Compile and validate vendor documentation such as MAFs, GTPs, test reports, and datasheets.

8-Ensure availability of multiple vendor quotes (minimum three) for major components.

9-Prepare comprehensive price proposals, including materials, services, logistics, taxes, and overheads.

10-Build and maintain detailed cost estimates and supporting calculation sheets.

11-Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance) for accurate and timely bid submission.

12-Ensure all submissions are technically compliant, commercially competitive, and risk-assessed.

13-Track bid timelines and ensure on-time submission of complete and error-free tenders.

Skills Required

1-Strong understanding of EPC tendering processes in the power sector

2-Expertise in techno-commercial bid preparation

3-Knowledge of EHV Substations and Transmission Line projects

4-Proficiency in BOQ preparation and cost estimation

5-Vendor management and negotiation skills

6-Strong analytical and documentation skills

7- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

8-Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities
