Our client, a global manufacturing & supply chain solutions company is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to lead the execution of substation and power evacuation projects (132kV and above) within the energy transition and infrastructure domain. The role involves close coordination with engineering, procurement, and execution teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of substation and power evacuation projects (132kV and above).
Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement teams for timely release of drawings, material delivery, and design clarifications.
Oversee vendor and contractor management, including issue resolution, contract execution, and performance tracking.
Develop, monitor, and control project schedules (L1, L2, L3) to ensure adherence to deadlines, quality, and EHS standards.
Manage project financials — including billing, cost tracking, and reconciliation to maintain profitability.
Prepare and present MIS reports, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), and progress updates for internal management and clients.
Liaise with clients and internal teams for project reviews, approvals, and billing coordination.
Establish progress measurement systems across engineering, procurement, and construction functions.
Drive excellence in project delivery by implementing strong Quality, EHS, and Risk Management practices.
Lead project closure activities, including technical and commercial handovers and performance reviews.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution within the power or infrastructure sector.
Proven experience in handling 100 MW+ power projects, including power evacuation systems.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera).
Expertise in vendor coordination, procurement tracking, and billing management.
Familiarity with Government regulations and CEIG approval processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
