FlexingIt is seeking a Strategic Content Architect with deep B2B SaaS experience to own and execute our content strategy. This is not a generalist copywriting role — we need someone who can translate complex business value (workforce optimisation, fractional hiring ROI, talent strategy) into compelling narratives that resonate with C-suite, HR leaders, and hiring managers. You'll be responsible for creating high-value lead magnets, thought leadership content, case studies, and sales enablement assets that move prospects through our funnel.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and own the content calendar and editorial strategy aligned with business goals.
• Create high-value lead magnets (guides, toolkits, frameworks, whitepapers) that drive conversions.
• Research and write compelling case studies by interviewing fractional talent and clients.
• Craft thought leadership content for LinkedIn and other channels (ghostwriting for executives).
• Develop email nurture campaigns and sequences that move prospects through the funnel.
• Create sales enablement collateral (one-pagers, pitch decks, battlecards, comparison sheets).
• Write LinkedIn ad copy, landing page copy, and other performance marketing assets.
• Collaborate closely with the Growth Designer to structure content for maximum impact.
• Position FlexingIt strategically against traditional staffing, agencies, and full-time hiring models.
• Analyse content performance metrics and iterate based on data insights.
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension based on performance)
Capacity: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Nature of Work: Remote (with occasional team meetings via video conference)
Min Experience: 4+ years in B2B SaaS content strategy/writing
Must Have Skills:
-Strategic Content Thinking: Ability to develop content strategies that support business objectives, not just write beautiful prose
-B2B SaaS Experience: Proven track record creating content for B2B SaaS companies, preferably in HR tech, talent marketplace, or workforce solutions
-Value Proposition Expertise: Can translate complex product/service value into clear, compelling business outcomes
-Audience Understanding: Deep understanding of C-suite, HR leaders, and hiring manager pain points and decision-making processes
-Long-Form Content: Exceptional ability to research and write comprehensive guides, whitepapers, and lead magnets (2,000+ words)
-Storytelling: Can craft compelling narratives from customer interviews and data points
-Conversion Copywriting: Understanding of persuasive writing techniques, CTAs, and conversion optimization
-SEO & Distribution: Basic understanding of SEO, content distribution, and how content drives pipeline
-Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently
-Collaboration: Experience working closely with designers, product marketers, and sales teams
Additional Notes
• Portfolio review is mandatory — please include 2-3 samples of lead magnets, case studies, or thought leadership pieces you've created for B2B SaaS companies
• Preference for candidates with experience in the marketplace, talent platform, or HR tech sectors
• This role requires excellent English writing skills (native or near-native proficiency)
• You'll work closely with our fractional CMO and report directly to the leadership team
