Our client, a leading global specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking a highly experienced SME in Building Management Systems (BMS) and building automation to support the creation, review, and validation of technical content for our e-learning modules. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible learning materials.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Content Creation and Review
Contribute to the development of course content by providing clear technical explanations, real-world examples, and detailed system descriptions suitable for learning materials.
Review and validate all technical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with BMS industry standards and Schneider Electric practices.
Suggest improvements, corrections, and additional technical insights where needed.
2. Visual, Media, and Graphic Support
Propose relevant image references (equipment, interfaces, system components, architecture diagrams, etc.) to support content development.
Collaborate with instructional and graphic designers by providing technical input during the creation of diagrams, animations, schematics, and storyboards.
Evaluate proposed visuals to ensure they accurately represent BMS systems, workflows, and technical concepts.
Validate the final technical accuracy of all media assets.
Review and approve final video deliverables before production sign-off.
3. Ongoing Technical Guidance
Provide expert feedback throughout all stages of course design and production.
Participate in review meetings and offer timely responses to questions from designers and production teams.
Support iterative development processes to ensure smooth progress from concept to final delivery.
Deep, hands-on specialization in Building Management Systems (BMS), particularly around control sequences, HVAC automation, BMS architecture, and protocol-level knowledge (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, etc.).
Strong experience in building automation and building energy management.
Experience supporting the development or review of technical materials, such as diagrams, system descriptions, training content, or other documentation.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with training or e-learning content development is preferred.
Availability for ongoing reviews and collaborative work throughout the project timeline.
Ideal Profile:
Technically strong, detail-oriented, and able to provide precise and actionable feedback.
Comfortable collaborating with instructional designers, graphic designers, and production teams.
Capable of transforming complex BMS concepts into pedagogically sound explanations suitable for learners with varied technical backgrounds.
