Our Client is an Indian non profit organisation and is looking for an Independent Senior Data Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
1-Hands on development—deliver it in terms of code/implementation along with design and implementation plan.
2-Design end-to-end data architecture (ingestion → storage → processing → consumption)
3-Define and implement scalable data models and architect data warehouse/lake systems
4-Design and oversee ETL / ELT pipelines (batch/streaming)
5-Establish data governance, security, and data quality frameworks
6-Provide technical oversight to data teams and optimize systems for performance and cost
Note: NCR / Mumbai (Remote with occasional in-office meetings)
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in data architecture and large-scale system design
Expertise in data modeling (OLTP, OLAP, dimensional)
Hands-on experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, and columnar/OLAP databases
Experience building ETL / ELT pipelines and distributed data systems
Knowledge of data governance, security (RBAC/IAM), and system integration
Preferred Skills:
Experience in creating MIS/Dasboard, Reports using metabase/Tableu/PowerBI etc
