Our client, a global leader in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an Independent Data Quality Tester to achieve end-to-end automation of data processing and quality assurance for sales and order data across all plans, regions, and lines of business. The initiative focuses on enabling robust criteria definition for end users, channels, services, and offer plans, while ensuring high data accuracy and reliability.
Role Objective
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of automated data pipelines through comprehensive and structured testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Define, design, and execute test cases for data validation and quality assurance
Perform regression, integration, and performance testing across automated data pipelines
Identify data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and collaborate closely with ETL developers to resolve issues
Validate data accuracy across multiple plans, regions, and lines of business
Document test cases, test results, and defects, and maintain quality metrics and reports
Ensure adherence to data quality standards and best practices throughout the automation lifecycle
Duration: Minimum 6 months, extendable based on project requirements
Location: Remote
Minimum 3 years of experience in data quality testing or data validation roles
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data profiling tools
Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Excellent documentation skills and ability to work independently in a structured environment
