Assignment Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models for yield improvement, quality prediction, batch optimization, OEE improvement, and asset reliability.
  • Build ML pipelines for time-series, sensor, and process data from historians and OT systems.
  • Implement anomaly detection, process optimization, and digital twin solutions.
  • Deploy ML/AI models into production environments (cloud or edge).
  • Work closely with plant teams to understand process parameters, shop-floor automation, and quality workflows.
  • Integrate analytics models with OPC/OPC UA, PLC/SCADA, DCS, Historians (OSIsoft PI, Ignition, AspenTech), MES.
  • Collaborate with OT and automation teams for seamless data ingestion and model deployment.
  • Support digital manufacturing initiatives (Smart Factory, Industry 4.0).
  • Build robust data pipelines from OT sources to cloud/on-prem data platforms.
  • Perform data wrangling, lineage maintenance, and ensure data quality.
  • Work with Azure/AWS/GCP for scalable model training & deployment.
  • Work with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to design use cases.
  • Communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead PoCs and end-to-end analytics projects.

Skills Required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Deep understanding of time-series modeling, process analytics, anomaly detection, statistical modeling.
  • Experience with IT-OT systems:
  • Knowledge of digital manufacturing systems and Industry 4.0 solutions.
  • Strong experience in Pharma or Consumer Goods manufacturing.
  • Understanding of regulatory and quality frameworks (GxP is a plus for Pharma).
  • Familiarity with batch, continuous, and packaging processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a plant environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering insights and presenting solutions.
