Assignment Details

Our client focuses on helping start-ups and entrepreneurs scale, provide access to markets and partners and help them raise funds.

They are looking for a strong Research Analyst for a short term project duration(2-3months) mainly to support them to build a database that has information about grants being provided by the government and corporate sector as this will help generate employment in the country. Also helping entrepreneurs by providing them access to information about grants and schemes offered by various sectors.

The required consultant would have the following primary responsibilities-
- Conducting research through sourcing information from various primary & secondary means, keeping a record and putting into effect the best practices for research, data collection, and presentation.
- Create a database of all grants that the Government of India and other sectors are offering and consolidate this data.
- Evaluate listed & non-listed companies, government sectors looking at providing funds mainly for start-ups or entrepreneurs, understand growth prospects of various companies and provide the information to internal teams.
- Preparing reports and various types of content for strategic business and market intelligence.
- Skilled at conducting research, providing value and new insights based on the information discovered.

Skills Required

- Ability to find information from authentic sources in an efficient manner. This would require: - Good knowledge of databases, public sources of information, and industry-specific sources.-
-Ability to validate sources for relevancy and accuracy.
- Knowledge of Government / Public and Private Sectors Industry is preferred.
- Proficient in web searches and able to analyze information from different sources.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence & willingness to learn
