Assignment Details

Our client, a broadband, telecommunications and cloud service provider is looking to engage with a SAP Fico Specialist.

Responsible for managing the SAP Finance modules,
1. To enable the Business / Function to achieve objectives through the effective use of technology
2. To Work with the Finance Team to analyze their requirements: prepare and participate in workshops, requirement documentation, etc.

Major Deliverables:
1. Develop SAP Finance Roadmap
2. Analyze and recommend upgrades, new products to Business Team & IT Team
3. Understanding & articulating the wider financial information requirements of business to give them the flexibility to meet future requirements
4. Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impacts on end-user products and services, business processes and system priorities, technology trends
5. Steer and coordinate all project realization related activities to ensure time schedules are being achieved and all quality standards are being implemented
6. Align with business for end user requirements and provide options to achieve
business targets/ objectives in the best possible time lines.
7. Implement a continuous progress and performance monitoring process
8. Have real time visibility of what has been promised, what is needed and what can be delivered
9. Close the project and initiate a final project review to ensure best practice sharing 10. Assist in mapping the requirements into SAP Processes and design the solutions
11. Customize and develop the SAP-system with the help of Business partners
12. Testing, assist in the development of test scripts
13. Finalize the configuration & support the solution
14. Ensures the business need is addressed by the technical solution
15. Monitoring the resolution of escalated IT issues
16. Drive the minimal customization requirement with Finance Team
17. Ensure availability of applications to end users
18. Drives the SAP Transformation initiative

Skills Required

Essential Attributes:
1. Very good knowledge of SAP FI CO & PS modules with implementation and support experience
2. Functional knowledge of SAP BPC, Modules
3. Very good understanding of Global structure and Enterprise structure
4. Core financial awareness
5. Very good understanding of integration capabilities with other modules and third party applications including cloud offerings
6. Good organizational capabilities and experience of managing multiple off-roll project teams simultaneously
7. Ability to consistently focus on and achieve aggressive Time, Cost Quality targets for delivery projects
8. Strong customer focus and business orientation
9. Experience in managing the partner echo system

Desired Attributes:
1. Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA or Simple Finance
2. Knowledge of SAP Reporting Tools (Business Explorer / BE etc)
3. Project Management Tools, MS Excel & PowerPoint
4. Must be an effective communicator and must have good influencing ability and
interpersonal skills
5. Team Player with strong conflict management capabilities
6. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage teams/partners at different
locations

Preferred Qualification- CA / CWA / MBA and SAP Certification
