Our client is a leading PE firm who are currently evaluating a leading Kitchen Appliance company (who is a leading player engaged in manufacturing and marketing of gas stoves & other kitchen appliances in India.).
They are looking for a senior professional from the industry who understands this space well and will help them in carrying out the evaluation and due diligence exercises on the business.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Driving marketplace growth of the relevant category keeping in mind the consumer and competition.
- Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
- Should be able to fruitfully coordinate with marketing, supply chain, cataloguing, finance / commercial and other functions of the organisation.
- Owning P&L for the relevant category in alignment with business goals. The Category manager would be responsible for the revenue targets as well as the gross margins.
- In-depth understanding of the Kitchen/Household Appliances industry (Gas Stoves & Chimneys)
- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
- Strong analytical aptitude in problem solving
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Should be good at multitasking, critical thinking, and comfortable with tactical execution
- Proven track record of finding innovative solutions to business problems
