Assignment Details

Our client, an international Social venture that enables land regularization in urban areas, is looking to engage with an experienced consultant in the space of data science and analytics to support the analysis, data modelling and structuring of a Social Bond.

Key Deliverables:
1. Reviewing, testing and validating the key assumptions underlying the financial modelling, including but not limited to:
- Assessing the viability of the income stream by looking at the assumptions and past data around repayment rates, client profile
- Assessing the value of the underlying assets
- Validating the estimated returns for potential investors over different time periods
- Identifying external benchmarks from similar products in other parts of the world, other sectors and pressure testing assumptions as also return expectations
2. Comparing target returns over different time frames with competing financial products to identify potential risks as also questions investors would have
3. Helping the internal team structure the core financial model to make it easily consumable by an external, investor audience .

Note: This is a 2 months project requiring remote support

Skills Required

-Experience in building and pressure testing complex models for financial products.
-Experience with structuring social bonds/similar products will be a definite plus
-Good analytical and problem solving skills; expertise in Excel advance will be a bonus
