Assignment Details
Our client, a leading global non-profit organization, is looking to engage with a Senior Strategy Consultant for a duration of 6 months.
It requires the services of a strategic engagement expert, with rich experience in global public health, to lead the organization’s support efforts towards driving the health agenda in the G20. The consultant will support client's India Country office – South Asia Hub. The position will be for a period of six months and will be based out of our New Delhi Office
- Work with and otherwise coordinate support to the G20 and provide sustained technical support to maintain and further develop competencies related to the G20 health track.
- Actively interact and facilitate communication and participate in collaborative efforts related to G20 with all programs staff, partners, collaborators and funders, including industry, academia, government agencies, multilateral health organizations and non-governmental organizations.
- Keep abreast of new developments in the G20 presidency practices and requirements from regulatory and other health authorities and regularly update G20 support team on the developments;
- Maintain current knowledge of and anticipate changes in the priorities of G20 under India’s presidency
- Drafts responses, SOPs, blueprints and other work products, under guidance, to requests from G20 representatives.
- Present technical updates and represent at global health and major national and international meetings.
- Adhere to timelines provided and proactively identify and escalate risks in a timely fashion
Skills Required
- An MBA/ MSc or equivalent degree with 10 or more years of experience in Public Health, Management consulting or Project delivery
- Prior experience of working in vaccine, therapeutic or diagnostic policy development either in India, regionally or globally, is desirable.
- Experience working with the National government and an understanding of the overall bureaucratic structure
- Core understanding of the G20 and its working groups will be a plus
- Articulate communicator, excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language essential), with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a small team in a global environment. Open, engaging, and transparent work style with a global perspective and mindset; ability to work effectively with colleagues from myriad of cultures, backgrounds, and geographies.
- Self-motivated, with leadership abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
