Our client is an international, nonprofit global health organisation and are looking to engage with an Public health expert who can help them in developing digital tools for building a robust mechanism in the public health administration.
Key Responsibility :-
i. Support and facilitate the strategic and overall coordination in divisions of
IDSP/ IHIP, One Health, AMR, Center for Environmental & Occupational
Health, Climate Change & Health.
ii. Support in creating platform for partners/stakeholders to share and create
evidence-based knowledge, enabling the uptake of information to
strengthen the health systems interventions.
iii. Advise the team in developing digital tools for building a robust
mechanism of reporting and monitoring for public health administration.
iv. Guidance on digitisation of health data and IT initiatives to be undertaken
by NCDC for digital transformation of the portals under MoHFW.
v. Provide technical assistance to undertake research activities under digital
health platforms and their transformational capacities.
vi. Lead the preparation of technical documents, including reviews on Digital
Health Systems interventions and social determinants of health, including
policy briefs and reports.
vii. Lead the process of establishing cross references to existing and relevant
websites and resource centers.
viii. Support the NCDC digital portals and platforms on all administrative and
technical matters.
ix. Undertake supportive supervision and concurrent monitoring initiatives, including field monitoring on a periodic basis.
x. Identify best practices and innovations within states and support in
documentation and replication of identified practices.
xi. To assist in strengthening the governance framework and the institutional
capacity of NCDC and its branches.
xii. Strengthening of IHIP platform and integration of data of One Health,
LIMS, and Climate Change surveillance platforms with IHIP to facilitate
the data analysis.
xiii. To enable and facilitate Interoperability by developing uniform/ common
data standards across the various digital health portals which would
empower the decision makers with evidence-based policy feedback
systems.
xiv. To support operationalisation and integration of LIMS with IHIP.
xv. To facilitate NCDC to become a Regional Hub for Genomic surveillance
in the South Asian region by strengthening the capacity of Genomic
surveillance systems under IDSP.
Skills Required
- Have a master’s or PhD degree in public health, health and hospital management, health policy, health administration, business administration.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, ability to work in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills.
- Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills, and a good network of contacts with key stakeholders.
