Our client is an international, nonprofit global health organisation and are looking to engage with an Risk Communication Strategy Expert who can help them analyse currently available strategies and guidelines for responding to primary healthcare, communicable and non-communicable diseases and assist in carrying out improvements in their utility and efficacy in strengthening health system and acceptance by the communities.
Key Responsibilities :-
1. Lead in development of modules and interventions to support implementation for augmenting capacity of health system in efficiently and swiftly responding to primary healthcare needs, communicable diseases including adoption of effective risk communication strategies.
2. Support in the development and implementation of target population- specific communication material on comprehensive primary healthcare, communicable and non-communicable diseases.
3. Building capacities of various stakeholders through engagement on digital
platforms for wider reach and improved competency.
4. Assist in facilitation of evaluation of existing support in meeting the desired outcomes through field-based knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) studies.
5. Support in crafting of IEC strategy and communication strategic plans for
all divisions of NCDC as required
6. Perform any other task related to the terms of reference and within the
area of expertise, as and when requested by ADB.
7. All such tasks require to be embedded in the NCDC under the MoHFW
8. Any other relevant tasks as required and assigned by ADB, NCDC,
MoHFW or the government
- 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably dealing with designing strategies for increased uptake of public healthcare, management of disease outbreaks in India and related risk communication.
- They should have expertise in conceptualizing, planning, and implementation of communication strategies, plans and development of IEC material.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, ability to work in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills.
- Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills, and a good network of contacts with key stakeholders.
