An international, nonprofit global health organization
The role in the project includes:
i. Responsible for the development, design, and implementation of new or modified software as required by stakeholders, NCDC, MoHFW etc.
ii. Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs for NCDC and One Health.
iii. Testing and evaluating new programs.
iv. Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
v. Writing and implementing efficient code.
vi. Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
vii. Directing system testing and validation procedures.
viii. Directing software programming and documentation development.
ix. Consulting with government departments under MoHFW on project status and proposals.
x. Working with NCDC or other government departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
xi. Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
xii. Consulting with NCDC and other ministries engineering staff to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
xiii. Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
xiv. Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
xv. Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
xvi. Coordinate closely with the Data Architect, and Solution Architect for development and strengthening of existing and new digital portal or system modifications and aid in the innovation and creation of company software and programs.
xvii. Strengthening of IHIP platform and integration of data of One Health, LIMS, and Climate Change surveillance platforms with IHIP to facilitate the data analysis.
xviii. To enable and facilitate Interoperability by developing uniform/ common data standards across the various digital health portals which would empower the decision makers with evidence-based policy feedback systems.
xix. To support operationalization and integration of LIMS with IHIP.
xx. Formulate a consultative joint stakeholder driven policy for One health and assist in strengthening of One Health surveillance mechanism.
xxi. All such tasks require to be embedded in the NCDC under the MoHFW
xxii. Any other relevant tasks as required and assigned by ADB, NCDC, MoHFW or the government organizations.
- The consultant should have at least an MCA/ B.E/B.Tech /MBBS or equivalent from a recognized university or Institution.
- He/ She should have 3+ Years in IT/ Consulting in large IT / Healthcare projects. The preference would be if he/she has previously worked on digital health in any government organization.
