Assignment Details

Our client, an Indian multinational consumer goods company is looking to engage with a Consultant to lead technology implementation for sales function which includes but is not limited to running the sales IT landscape efficiently, manage technical and functional upgrades and implementing cutting edge digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities:
• Key interface between business users and convert them to application requirements
• Monitor the operations and support IT processes in sales function for Marico India
• Work closely as interface with Business and suggest appropriate applications
• Serve as a point between the Business function and internal IT (Applications / Infrastructure) for the resolution of problems, complaints and service requests related to applications.
• Collaborate with Consulting Organizations or IT Development team and ensure timely development and deployment of Solutions and related Applications in procurement areas
• Provide expertise, guide, and instruct end users of the applications, ensure correct SOP adherence, train users and enable easier adoption
• Ensure Functional designs, functional unit testing plans, and integration test scenarios as well as executing the tests including data loading and validations
• Ensure project communications and participate in project steering reviews
• Govern capex/opex spends of BPT& IT function for sales IT spends

Duration - 12 months (extendable)
Capacity- Full time
Location - Mumbai (Hybrid- one full week office, one full week wfh)

Skills Required

- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
-Experience in FMCG industry is needed
-Experience in understanding business processes and able to convert to IT requirements
-Sound Business process knowledge and process design skills in sales processes
-Exposure to migration from legacy to cloud DMS for retail/ manufacturing/ FMCG/ pharma industry is needed (Mandatory)
-Experience and exposure in all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, training, deployment of solutions, and postproduction support/maintenance functions is desired
-Experience in Cloud DMS systems rollout is a must
-Business Analyst – Able to convert business requirements into IT requirements (functional specifications, technical specifications)
-Should have handled hand-on configuration and implementation for at least one cloud migration project
-Good IT operations management exposure including reduction of support tickets
-Strong planning and execution skills
-Conversant with working in cross functional teams
-Good communication skills, written and verbal with ability to convert data into clear and concise messages for end users
-Good Understanding of Project Management
-Good MS-Excel Skills for analyzing data
-Knowledge of sales processes within FMCG is a plus
-Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
-Exposure to Agile Software development practices
-Exposure to Cloud technologies
