Our client is a Indian multinational conglomerate is looking to engage with a consultant who can drive the Functional Excellence by anchoring Functional Academies in the identified areas (based on the Functional Talent Councils). This includes design, delivery, sustenance, and impact measurement of best-in-class capability building interventions by the leading learning partners - using a wide variety of learning methods. Ensure efficient implementation of Continuing
Education Policy – which also includes collaboration and tie up with the best University which offers executive MBA (or any other program as decided).
1. Setting up and operationalizing of multiple Functional Academies:
a. Collaborate with Talent Development team to understand the context and
purpose of setting up Talent Councils in different functions. Do a detailed ‘need’
analysis by interacting with all internal experts / stake holders
b. Refine the existing functional competency dictionary (if needed) to ensure it is
contemporary and completely aligned to client's unique needs
c. Conduct external bench mark / research
d. Prepare road map for setting up and operationalizing Functional Academy and
how these gaps can be addressed (including the methods to address them)
e. Identify and shortlist learning partner / s who can provide learning interventions
to address these gaps
f. Provide inputs to the learning partner, while designing the program, to ensure all
Gyanodaya programs are contextualized to client and are highly
g. Ensure close involvement and alignment of SMEs when designing learning
h. Ensure tie ups with leading research organizations / publications for capability
& perspective building in the community
2. Provide Learning Consultancy to Businesses and other Corporate Functions by
providing learning expertise in designing their capability development programs,
including delivery and sustenance planning
a. Connect with Business and Corporate Function teams to understand emerging
Organizational Capability requirements, business context and challenges. Get
a sign off on the overall learning objectives.
b. Draw macro design of the learning intervention (Objectives structure,
instruction strategy, pre – during – after interventions including sustained
learning etc). Ensure the design will deliver the intended and agreed learning
objectives. Search and select the appropriate faculty/learning partner to deliver
the learning design.
c. Support the business for ensuring the delivery of the learning event as per the
design by strict adherence to the pre, during and post learning plan.
d. Support the business in ensure implementation of post program action plan
e. Measure the impact of the expertise provided
3. Implement Continuing Education Policy
a. Understand and identify the areas (e.g. MBA/ M Tech / PhD etc) where
continuing education policy needs to be implemented
b. Identify, shortlist & tie –up executive learning universities who can provide
c. Manage the process of operationalising this policy.
