Assignment Details

Our client, a Leading Insurance Firm from India is looking to engage with a consultant to help with Underwriting - Re work Ratio, Identify reasons of high rework ratio including channel specific issues and to come out with probable solutions to address major identified reasons.

Project Introduction:

- Study channel wise data on submission and issuance in detail and Draw inferences on Rework ratios
- Identifying top 5 reasons for high rework ratio and suggestions to reduce the same

Key Project Deliverables:

- Recommend solutions
- Rework/Additional work

a. STP rule engine – if the rules are working as expected
b. UW cleared cases which keep coming back to UW post DST clearance
c. Production issues – identification and Identifying gaps – if the system is behaving as expected
d. Bringing sync in the various processes NB, Med-net and Workflow related gaps

Skills Required

- Experience on audit & insurance background
- Experience of insurance Underwriting
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of risk assessment
- Good proficiency with MS Excel
