Assignment Details
Our client, an Indian pharmaceutical company is looking for a senior legal consultant to help and support them on:
1. Provide legal guidance relating to the formulation and implementation of strategies and policies.
2. Identify legal issues and risks that may affect the business (and ensuring that the business leadership is appropriately advised concerning those issues).
3. Mitigate compliance risks, implementing the legal and regulatory risk compliance program and to ensure that the business in complies with local and international legislation and regulation.
4. Manage the corporate actions, M&A activities etc.
5. Provide legal advice and support to the General Counsel.
6. Draft, review and negotiate agreements, contracts and policies.
7. Lead, Oversee and direct company litigation, Coordinate with outside attorneys, Represent the company at arbitration and litigation hearings and any other regulatory hearings.
8. Provide legal advise, negotiate and manage Collaboration & Alliances having front customer facing experience.
Note: This is a 6 month full time project in Bangalore which might get extended or get converted into a permanent role basis mutual interest and understanding.
Skills Required
Experience of about 15+ years and worked extensively across fields of drafting, litigation, corporate affairs & due diligence
Strong skills in drafting, negotiation, contract management with sound knowledge of applicable laws & compliance
Possess skills in:
- Team management & leadership skills
- Operational Excellence
- Driving of performance within the team and cross functions
- Strategic agility/thinking
- Global Exposure/International assignments is a must
- Exposure of handling big ticket corporate transactions, licensing deals
- Must have worked in world class companies at senior role
- Experience in pharma, FMCG or manufacturing companies - preferred
- Proactive, Business enabler
