Assignment Details

Our client, a leading non-profit organization is looking to engage with a Consultant who can strategize, define and plan company’s equity initiatives across the organization to achieve the goals in equity.

Key responsibilities:
● Provide leadership, strategic oversight, coordination, consultation, and direction to all equity initiatives
● Manage the equity initiatives end to end covering research, technology, content and programs
● Develop metrics to understand equity across programs
● Develop a team to manage the equity initiatives
● Innovate replicable and scalable models for enhancing the coverage of programs
in equity encumbered geographies
● Develop dashboards to ensure accountability, tracking, and monitoring of equity efforts
● Periodically update the leadership team and the Board of Trustees on progress toward the organization’s equity-focused goals
● Build knowledge, skills, and competencies around equity for staff, Board and partners
● Develop and facilitate equity audit requests for programs
● Take lead in providing support related to equity initiatives to the Government relationship teams and State teams
● Understand global and national level practices on equity in public health
● Support the partnership team in fostering alliance with organizations and programmes aligned with equity initiatives
● Provide support to the Resource Mobilization team regarding the equity initiatives
● Write blogs and articles in areas related to equity, especially in areas with relevance to the programs
● Represent company in conferences and seminars.

Skills Required

● Postgraduate Degree in Public Health
● Degree in Medicine (desirable)
● Minimum 15 years of national and international experience, management and
implementation of equity initiatives with at least five years of practical experience in India is essential
● Excellent knowledge of equity factors in public health
● Skills in the management equity in programmes, including formulation of strategies, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of interventions
● Knowledge and experience of equity related programmes
● Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Governments,
Development Partners and Donors
● Team management skills, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment
● Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
● Good presentation, communication, writing, advocacy and negotiation skills
