Assignment Details

Our client team, an ed-tech firm, is looking to engage with a Web Designer who will be responsible for creating an intuitive website for the firm. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for website design, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with our branding and values.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conceptualizing creative ideas for website design.
2. Testing and improving the design of the website.
3. Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
4. Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
5. Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with our branding.
6. Working with different content management systems.
7. Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
8. Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
9. Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
10. Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.

Skills Required

1. A relevant diploma in a related field.
2. Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, - Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
3. Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
4. Good understanding of content management systems.
5. Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
6. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
7. Excellent visual design skills.
8. Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
9. Creative and open to new ideas.
10. Excellent communication skills.
